Bishop Luers High School

The Bishop Luers Athletic Department is excited to introduce Tyler Young as the new Head Track & Field Coach for both our boys’ and girls’ programs! Tyler is a Fort Wayne native, and a 2014 graduate of R. Nelson Snider High School where he was a member of the 2011 SAC championship team. He began his coaching career as the assistant sprint coach for Snider HS in 2015 and helped coach an indoor state qualifier for the 4x200 meter dash and an outdoor All-State 4x100. In 2018, Tyler became the head assistant coach at North Side High School where he helped the 4x400 sprinters to a top 12 spot throughout most of the season. Other coaching accomplishments include: 2x SAC 4x100 Champions 1x 100m Sectional Champion 100m record holder and 4 state appearances We look forward to having Tyler lead our Track & Field program here at Bishop Luers!
